Veterinarian

We are a privately owned, growing 2+ doctor, well-managed practice in beautiful Western Massachusetts. Located in the 5 college area and the foothills of the Berkshires looking for a Veterinarian. We have fully credentialed Veterinary Nurses, skilled in phlebotomy, radiology, IV Catheter Placement, and drug calculations. We have digital everything, full inhouse laboratory, doppler, ultrasound, dental and surgery suites, and Doggy Day Care. No after-hour emergencies. Technical Assistant

Are you ready to assist our clients and pets in an industry leading veterinary hospital? If you are the veterinary assistant we are looking for you’ll be familiar with pet behavior, outgoing, enthusiastic, compassionate and not afraid to get dirty. You will use your communication skills, problem solving skills, physical stamina and be a passionate patient advocate. 

We are busy small animal veterinary practice looking to to hire a veterinary assistant. Experience is preferred, but not required. Responsibilities include: all aspects of patient care, client communications, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, restraint, handling medical records, and more. 

This is a full time position, 38-40 hrs/week. Must be willing to work evenings, weekends and call ins. Hourly rate negotiable depending on level of experience. We offer excellent benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, Simple IRA, and continuing education stipend. 

Job Type: Full-time 

Salary: $16.75 – $19.00 per hour 

Expected hours: 37 – 42 per week
